- Roots are thoroughly cleaned from inside and filled with bio-inert material
- Tooth is sealed from top.
You are advised to avoid chewing from the side of jaw under treatment till tooth is protected by a cap/crown .
What to expect after Root canal Treatment?
Once root canal treatment is completed, your tooth is protected by fixing a cap/crown that helps to strengthen the tooth. Once the cap is fixed, you can start eating comfortably with your new cap. Doctor will help you understand the specific oral hygiene home maintenance instructions required to ensure longevity and long-term successful outcome of treatment.
Can I get Root canal treatment if I am breastfeeding or pregnant?
Root canal treatment can be done during lactation. Third trimester of pregnancy is safest to undergo Root canal treatment in consultation with your gynecologist.
